| Does anyone else think that Obama supporting/speaking about gun control legislation to the members of congress during the up coming State of the Union address would actually help further our cause? My opinion is that Obama calling for further gun control legislation would be met with the same resistance as health care by the republicans as well many democrats that are jumping ship. As much as I fear the new legislation to ban standard capacity magazines, I honestly believe that it will be found to be a moot issue and will not even see a vote. Just wondering what everyone here believes the outcome will be, from the latest round of 2A attacks. I am already starting to see panic buying in my area and it pisses me off. Just today I wanted to pick up five lower receivers for a few projects I am working on and every gun store within a two hour drive of me has sold out of them or jacked their prices up. I also wanted to pick up a Gen 4 Glock 17 and some mags today for my wife to shoot IDPA with and everyone has sold out of new glock pistols and magazines as well. |

Who knows? Libs complain that he's not liberal enough, so they want him to get tougher, but I don't see it happening. I believe that he wants a second term and won't do any totally stupid shit, to prevent him from getting that extra term.
Thinks will die down until the next mass shooting and then we'll start up again. Chris |
