If I have an iPod Touch and an iPhone, do I need to buy apps for each one or can they be shared?

I would say that you should be able too...but I only have one apple device and have never tried it...

But anyway, count this as a bump..

Tag for info, I'll be getting an iPod nano in the near future and if possible, an iPhone when they come out on Verizon.

My wife and I both have Ipod touches...

When either of us download an app, the other can download it for free.

As long as both devices are on the same itunes account, it shouldn't be a problem.

you can share them.
i have a hand full of iphones and itouch devices.

we all use the same itunes act..

when they buy something we can all have it..

if each device has its own itunes act sign in   i dont think you can   someone else will verify that part..

As long as the devices are on the same account, and as long as the apps are compatible with the device, they'll transfer.  As an example, I have the Knights and Ballistic FTE calculators on my iPhone and iPod, but I only paid once for each app.

Like stated above the answer is yes IF the devices all share the same account. Different accounts, no.

You can share the apps as long as the apps are registered to the same iTunes account.
