If you arrive at the ammo counter in between shifts... you'll have to wait. There is usually only 1 person that works the ammo counter and has a key. There has never been a person that ever worked the sporting goods section, and everytime I go in there its a diff person with the key, and more often than not they dont know where the key is. |

I go to Wal-Marts and work on some of their equipment, it kills me every time I go there. I swear to god no one there knows shit. It typically takes me longer to get the paperwork done that it does to fix the equipment. One person has the keys, another has their store stamp that shows I was there and no one knows who the manager on duty is that can sign my work order. |
| My favorite Walmart experience? I went to Sporting Goods and waited for 15 minutes on an associate with the key to return from his 10 minute break. He finally shows up with a half-eaten sandwich in one hand. I asked to see the Remington 870 with the waltnut furniture(the only 870 in the rotating display case). He reached in and grabbed the Charles Daly synthetic skeet gun. I said "no, the 870 with the wood stock", he fumbled, touched a 30.06 rifle, gasped, and then angrily said, "the brown one?". I will never bother the Wally world employees again....... |

In my neck of the woods here in Florida we have the best sporting goods woman that has ever worked in a Walmart. She Knows all about ammo and guns and thinks the Judge is a piece of shit.If she was hot I would be after her like a fly on shit. The rest of the store sucks balls but not the ammo department . |

Plant City? How about when the only person with a key decides to go home for the day with the key, keeping the cabinet locked until they return for their next shift. Ask me how I know? |
| The sporting goods counter in the local wal-mart is very close to the electronics department counter where there seems to be someone all the time I just ask them to call someone over to sporting goods counter. I go wait for a min or two and if no one shows up I pull out the cell phone call the store and ask for the manager. After a brief bitching someone usually shows up about a min. later |

What part of florida? Sounds like the woman at the walmart in Starke! |
| The last time I bought ammo at walmart I got it cheaper. we had three different people waiting, calling the store, going to other departments to get someone over. Well after about 30 minutes someone came to the counter (apparently he was having lunch). He felt so bad no one had helped us, he gave me a nice discount. |

The worst ordeal I ever had in a store was buying a 10/22 at a WalMart. The 4473 ended up being the most scribbled mess I ever saw because they insisted that everyone who touched that thing initial every line entry and then everyone initial the initials. I've handled large numbers of gun sales and 4473's from their side of the counter but couldn't get them to stop the ultra paranoid defacing of a government document (so to speak). Then of course they walked me and the Ruger box out to the front door and stood guard at the door until I pulled out of the parking lot. No shit, I'm not kidding. They stood guard until I left the property in my car. |

The whole time I was carrying my PT92 in a shoulder holster loaded with a 17 rd mag plus 2 more 17 rd mags in mag pouches. And I told the dumb son of a bitch I was carrying! She looked at me with a look of "carrying what?". A bunch of full blown retards could run the place better than the idiots they have there now! How they stay in business I'll never know. |

Meh, the one near me had the ammo case built on the same shelf frames as the other shelves with seperate shelf arms for the glass and side boards. I'd ask the automotive guys about getting soeone there and if they weren't there in 5min, I would just lift one side of the case till the frame came out of the shelf hangers and move the side to the right. Grab my ammo, put the shelf frames back in and go up front to pay.
They just moved things around and have figured out that trick. Luckily for me, the ammo counter gets a lot of traffic so the wait is usually just 5-10mins. |

They do it here too and so does Dicks Sporting Goods. Sometimes the prices they have are worth the walk of shame.
