Flying home from Orlando on Saturday, I set my MP3 player to play all my Type O Negative tracks - filled most of the flight. I too will miss this guy and his music.

Chicks dig October Rust. World Coming Down is the bleakest record I've ever heard, and is almost majestic.

My favorite TON album is Life Is Killing Me- GREAT songwriting and production on that one. Any giant heavy metal "badass" who can write a song about how much he loves his mother and still make it rock has my respect.

I can't comment on the man's spiritual status when he passed, but I hope he's found peace now. Depression and self-medication don't mix.
