Telco guys, geeks, mechanics, wire strippers of all shapes and sizes.. Check this shit out. 
You know that crapass wire stripping knife you sometimes find in telco and wire guy toolkits? Most of the time it's dull as fuck and useless. A good one with a nice edge can be a geek supertool though, and can more than earn it's spot on a tool belt. It shouldn't be precious though. This aint dull as fuck, and it really really really sure as heck aint useless... 
The Mora electrician's knife.  Bask in it's legendary swedish carbon steelness.. The easy to sharpen Scandinavian grind.. It's ability to take and hold an edge that will split hairs.. It's really quite practical and well thought out sheath.. It's comfortable and positive grip.. It's price under twenty bucks shipped..
They're also available in stainless for just a little more scratch, but I like the carbon steel. 
My supplier of all things Mora (and this makes three for me and a few bought for others), is a gentleman named Ragnar at http://www.ragweedforge.com. I lose hours on his website.  Mora knives are really quite incredible tools, at their price in particular. I do so love a good telco knife.
