I've been looking but can't find a way to set up my account to send me notifications when there is a reply to one of my post.
This forum is so large that it's impossible to just check "New Topics" and stay current. This seems like a very basic function to make a member a "productive member" . What am I missing? |

I was a paying member for a while but like I said in the OP it seems like a very basic function to make you a productive member. Now I make a post somewhere and can never find it again.
The only way I was able to find this one again was because I started it and it was under "My Topics". Maybe a mod will see this and agree with me. |

Free accounts do have access to the subscription system, although it is limited when compared to paid accounts. Free accounts cannot subscribe on all boards(General for example), have fewer results shown on their Subscriptions list, no default to Disable Automatic Subscriptions, Subscribe without Email Notifications, or Subscribe with Email Notifications, no ability to Change the Subscription Option at the time of posting (Do Not Add to Subscribe List, Without Email Notification, Subscribe With Email Notification). To subscribe from within a thread:  If the subscribe button isn't present then you are in a community that you do not have access to the subscription system for. Email notification of replies to threads but not to posts, is handled through the subscription system. There is no notification for replies to posts. To enable email notification for a thread:   = Click to toggle Mail on =Click to toggle mail off |
