I had a Netgear N300 for the last several months.  Friday it stopped broadcasting the wifi signal and transmitting the internet through its ports.  I exchanged it for a new one.

I know I installed this new one correctly.  Several times a day it logs me out on all my computers and iphones in the house.  Now I can't log back in.  Earlier I logged directly into the router and for whatever reason it started working again.  Now it won't.  The wifi light is lit green and the ports are transmitting to the Xbox that's plugged in.

Any help?

Do a factory reset on the device and re-configure the wireless.

It would be the first I would do. Next would be to perform a 30-30-30 reset and upload the latest firmware into it and try again.

I just got it out of the box on Friday and the first thing I did was upload the newest firmware.

What's a 30-30-30?
