Have a package coming in from Lexington, Ky

It showed up at the distribution center here at 5:56 am(gotta love the irony)

And it's been out for delivery since 7:14 am.

WTF over?

They usually have a few more packages than normal this time of year...

You got a few hours yet,  I wouldn't worry

You know they deliver more than just one package out of each truck.

First time getting a package from UPS?

I was hoping it'd show up before 5pm.

Thats when the FFL I shipped it to closes

I can't stand that either. But it happens all the time. I have had stuff show up at 7 or 8 at night. I would say wait a couple more hours then track it again. If they aren't going to make it. It will say rerouted to warehouse or something to that effect.

Any other time of the year it would probably show up at a business address by 4pm if they have a regular delivery schedule.  Probably earlier.  This ain't the normal time of year, though.

I really never understood why people get all pissy and moany when the package says 'out of deliver'.  It's on a truck with a metric fuck-ton of other packages that need to be delivered.  If you paid for Next Day, AM delivery I'd understand.

Don't worry. They will probably leave it next to the door at your FFL, who can grab it on when they open up in the morning.

Are they close by?   If so take a ride over and get there about 445.  If it is there, cool, if not wait around for 15min.      Likely going to be the same driver that delivers there every couple days and knows they close at 5

Are you sure it wasn't delivered? Sometimes it takes a few hours to update the tracking information.

The package I received today has been out for delivery since about 3AM this morning.  I'm pretty sure once its scanned and put on the truck it becomes "out for delivery" even if they driver isn't out yet.

Don't worry, they will leave it next to the door of the gunshop.  Just drive by around 6ish and pick it up with no transfer fees.
