I thought that bullets dont do well underwater. Penetration distances, something to do with the density of water etc.

That's what Mythbusters found at least. I guess they made a special purpose bullet or something.

I thought that bullets dont do well underwater. Penetration distances, something to do with the density of water etc.





 


If you read the article attached it talks about underwater performance and how they enhanced the bullets underwater capability.  Pretty interesting.

forget the round performance.  How would you like to be the pilot sitting in that seat?

What is that?  20 or 30mm?? and you are sitting within about 3 ft of the muzzle.

That's going to keep you awake..........and maybe ring your ears!
