Is there a way to pull up a chatbox with a friend even if they aren't currently online?
My friend gave me some info I need via facebook chat. When I logged on after getting home the chatbox wasn't open anymore and he isn't online so I don't know how to reopen it.

If you use Trillian and it is linked to Facebook, yes, you can find the conversation in your Trillian history. Otherwise, not to my knowledge.
