I used Pandora almost exclusively but have used my 40 hours for the month. It works great. I have also used AOL radio and I get advertisements about every 3 songs and it seems like it happens faster and faster each time and they take progressively longer. I have tried grooveshark but it freezes before it downloads much then it plays and bit and then stops, same with youtube. I chalk it up to my slow wifi, so what are my options?

Have you tried Last.fm?

I paid for Pandora, so I don't have any reason to use anything else.

Pay $1 and get Pandora for the rest of the month.

Is there a way to program it to play more songs that I do like?

Yeah more specifically, I hear Alice Cooper "Poison" I have pressed the liked button on it both times it has occured, as well as input it into my station but in 80 hrs of listening to it I have only got it twice. Oh well I dgiress I am a bit tired of aol radio and the fucking commercials, and the same fucking songs. So I guess i bitch no matter the situation.

They may be prohibited from playing the same song too often.  Have you noticed any other songs showing up more than 2 or 3 times?

Actually not really, I just went ahead and used an old gift card and paid for a shit ton of hours 1 dollar is nothing. And no ads so I need to quit being a cheap bastard. The fucking aol ads 50 times a day were just too much haha. Pandoras awesome.

I have a paid Pandora account. It's $3/mo - it's worth it.

However I've tried seeding stations with the exact same song or band and letting it ride and gotten very different results. I understand there's some degree of randomness in the algorithm they use, but it's very different if you don't use the thumbs up/down.
