Alright guys I have been looking for a few weeks now and have found nothing.
Pops wants to build a man cave in a small bedroom in house.
Well he has a very specific idea on what he wants.

He wants to recreate WO quarters from a carrier.  He has been stationed on 5 of them during his career (30yrs, Joined in '56 as a E1, retired in '86 as a CW04).
We are looking for the old 70's style metal furniture not the new wood stuff.
We want the bed, locker, desk...everything..

We found some at the Aviation museum here in Pensacola but they will not part with it nor can they remember where they got it.
I've been on gov't liquidations and all over the net but either my search-fu sucks or I cant find any.
I'm thinking the Navy scrapped most of it but we are hoping to find some.
This would mean the world to my old dad.

Any leads on where to find anything would be great.

Nothing on ebay? Surplus stores? I've seen some old office stuff at some of the bigger ones, but I'd guess most of that stuff was scrapped, who really wanted out dated office fur?

I do.

My office desk and chair are vintage gov't. surplus Steelcase.
I've had it for thirty years, that stuff is built to last.

Contact these folks Possible source
Used to do alot of re-enacting and we did a few on his property. Well last time I was there, he was welding up some section of an old naval vessel for a midway battle I believe. I don't know if he still has any of it, but he may be able to point you in the right direction.

Awesome.

Stuff like that is what I'm looking for.  All the surplus stores here in town have nothing but I know there has to be people that grabbed some of this stuff before it was scrapped, but its going to be these radome people/stores that don't advertise they have it.

We are trying to make it as close as possible to a perfect match of a old WO quarters.

We had a old steelcase desk for years but dad sold it.  They just don't make furniture like that anymore.
Everything he "kept" from when he was active is old photography gear and pictures.

AFAIK most if not all of that stuff has been surplussed out - much of it many years ago.  I'd hate to think much of it may have gone to the recyclers for the scrap metal.

Might start doing the web-searches for vintage/ retro furniture sites like this:

Good luck on the search.  Sounds like a pretty neat idea and could turn out nice if you can find the right pieces.

Have you asked museums (like the Museum of Naval Aviation, etc.) where they get the materials for their exhibits?

Yeah the museum here is the first place we went.  They have some but will not part with them.  They also do not know the source of where they came from.  My pops is friends with the head mechanic that does the restorations of all the planes they get and he said he's gonna keep a eye out for us.

Also teaser for the museum.
They just got in a varient of the German Me262 that is about to go into restoration.
I'll try and get pictures next time I go out.  I spend more time in the back restoration hanger than the actuall museum.
