The time has come for me to get new work boots for work around my several acres. I'm looking for good quality boots with top notch SUPPORT for working 6 hours or so. I spent 5 hours felling trees and cutting wood today and my old boots aren't cutting it. They don't need to look great - just fit and feel great, protect my feet and clean up well when muddy. Grip on uneven ground is an important safety need for me. My price point is roughly $170 or less.
I need recommendations from those with experience because this is outside of my zone. Red Wing? Carhartt? Thanks, CWO |

My last two pair of work boots have been Redwing, and it is time for a new pair (don't really need them, but the company insists on buying me a new pair every two years), I will be going with Redwings again.
My first pair, and my next pair are the ten inch loggers, model 2299, I would suggest going with an eight inch for comfort, my company requires a ten inch boot, otherwise these have been the best all around work boots I have every owned. |

these
been wearing them for over 10 years. a little pricey, but they hold up very well to oil and grease. I have owned over 6 pair of these |
