Do you want just action shoot'em up stuff? or will any kinda movie do??

In the interesting drama area I like:    (BTW none of these are documentaries)

I, Claudius  (start with episode 2 or 3,  best dramatic television EVER made. Its about The fall of the Roman republic and the emperors)

Danger UXB!   (TV series about Bomb disposal unit in WWII)

Horatio Hornblower  (TV series about Napoleon era British navy, lots of action )

Secret Army   (TV series about the French resistance in WWII)

Talvisota   (Movie about Finland in WWII)

Mussolini and I    (TV series about the Italian dictator)

DUNE         (The 4 hour directors cut movie from 1986)

I'm not sure if you can get these streaming netflix but you can definitely get them by mail.

It is a giant what if, watch it or read the short story but leaves you with more questions.

I watched it too. I didn't know what to expect, but I thought it was good. I really enjoyed it.

Wow Just watched it. Even though its 6 people on a static set in one room telling a story, it was more interesting them most of the movies I've seen all year.

For semi-cheesy 90's action: True Lies!

Just watched it with my wife tonight.

Tom Arnold stole the show.

Oh, and I just noticed Pirates 2: Stagnetti's Revenge is available on DVD - I wonder how people have had their kids order that without realizing what it is(good reason to keep the kids out of the netflix account?) Tis a shame it isn't streaming...

There's so much stuff on there I find it hard to believe that people can't find anything to watch. Been watching a lot of old Dr Who, just started on Seaquest. Right this moment watching some 70's sci-fi flick called Silent Running. Not sure I'd recommend that one unless you like weird 70's sci-fi(last of the planets forests sent into space to save them, only to be ordered destroyed and one of the guys goes insane). And been going through all the old Charlton Heston movies. Not that Will Smith isn't good or anything, but Omega Man beats the fucking crap out of I Am Legend. Same goes for Planet of the Apes - the ending of the remake just makes you go WTF, at least the original made a little more sense.

My wife rates Dexter right up there with Arfcom.  She hates them both with a passion.  I on the other hand can't stop.

I don't remember if it's Pirates 1 or 2, but they cut out the porn and released it as an actual movie because of it's popularity.

Glad I got my pre-cut version of Pirates 1 then

That's one of the funniest things I've ever heard... Cut the porn out of a porno...

That's the bullshit part.  I finished seasons 1 & 2 pretty quickly then went to start season 3 only to be handed a fistful of fuck.

They've obviously got a license to stream Dexter.  Why only the first two seasons?

Syriana was pretty damn good. Maybe need to watch it again to keep all the backstabbing and treachery straight.

3000 Miles to Graceland was ok, if you're into that late 90's kind of shoot em up overplayed character stuff.

Worth watching if you're off all week like I am I guess.

Just started Men Who Stare at Goats. Dad said it was pretty good.

And if you havent seen Death to Smoochy, queue it up immediately.

It is annoying, but I bought the DVD package so I am watching Season 3 on DVD now.  It would be way better to have it streaming though.

I have started Weeds on Instant now.  It appears that all 5 seasons are streaming so no dissapointments.
