I would like to get a threat level III Vest.
I would like it to be a vest  type with a "collar".
Who has the best deal?

Ya know...

If you are interested in this type of vest,  I am seeing a lot of the Mil "Surplus" USMC Interceptor vests on Ebay lately. Threat level IIIA with a collar.

They are not used, but apparently the Marines are going with a different camo pattern, and they are getting rid of the old Woodland patterned models even before they are used.

I have a Point Blank Interceptor, and I am very pleased with it.  It's a IIIA with available level IV SAPI plates (an expensive upgrade), collar and neck protector and a groin plate.  It's pretty lightweight for the protection level offered.  Also reasonably comfortable.

They go for about $400-500 on ebay with collar and groin protection (no SAPI plates) but if you look around you could do better.

I love my Interceptor vest, the great thing about it is that MOLLE pouches can be attached directly to it.  Gotta get the Level IV plates one of these days...
