Moving about a mile from current location.
Am I ok to lay my fridge on its back for a 5 minute drive?
What say the hive?

I always heard 5 minutes down, 10 minutes before powering up. YMMV

If you really have to, lay it down.
The problem is, when you do that all of the oil from the compressor flow throughout the system.
I'd let is sit upright for several hours if you do it this way. Just transport it upright if possible.
