| Question for those in the home industry. Is radon really as big of a problem as they make it sound? Would you have your basement tested? |
|
Yes it is a very big problem and could result in death. You should always have a radon test especially if your home is built on rocky soil.
Would you have your basement tested?
I live on sandy soil so the chance of radon is very low but 30 miles north, radon is a major problem. <home inspector |

Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: It's only a deadly gas, I wouldn't worry about it. Worst case, your kids have 6 fingers or a tail. Big whoop. More like lung cancer, not "deformities". My mom says my third testicle is radon-induced. Maybe it was drugs. Anyway, don't judge me. Running must hurt. |

Many midwestern states such as Indiana have radon levels much higher than national average. Check here for your county average. Poorly ventilated areas should be tested. |
