This is fairly close but I think NCIS is a little better. Plus the female director is smoking. Poll incoming. |
| NCIS hands Down, First Kate, then Director Shepherd, and Ziva... even the little asian attorney chick was cute...and while it's unrealistic, as pretty much all "Cop" shows are, it's not AS annoying as CSI. You wouldnt believe how many of the sheep think that every dept in the country has access to a lab like that 24/7 |

Aside from the actors CSI seems to move slower. |

CSI is utter trash. I can't freakin' stand it. Any of them. They all suck, they don't even try to make any thing remotely realistic. Soon enough they'll just start using a metal detector with a "Super crime solver 9000" sticker on it and the show will last all of 10 minutes. I'm just waiting for some one to make Caruso eat those stupid ass sun glasses.
NCIS has some balls. Not, it's not a reality based show. We all know that no where exsists an LEO department of any kind that has a lab run by one eccentric hottie that can do anything and has every super cool toy available like that. That said, they at least add some levity, like some one else here mentioned, the acting is WAY better and pretty much EVERY one is smarter, tougher and more level headed than any of the mouth breathers on CSI. NCIS FTMFW. |

All I have to say about that is; Donald P. Bellisario The bringer of cool television. ![]() |

I prefer NCIS. I didn't watch either in the beginning. I got hooked on both watching reruns. I caught CSI a few years ago on Spike TV when they did a full week with a CSI marathon. Initially I think CSI leaned more toward the realistic side of technology however lately they really stretch things....at least for me.
Got hooked on NCIS on a marathon as well. I like the plot lines and the shoot-em up drama better than CSI. I will say however they really stretch things with all the computer crap that the character McGee seem to be doing. Funny how quickly he can track cell phone signal without a warrant. Let alone all the other info he seems to find online so quickly. I wish they would tone Gibbs down a little. There's no way the character he plays could get away with slapping a coworker on the back of the head the way he does. But I guess it adds to the humor. |

I prefer NCIS. I didn't watch either in the beginning. Same here. I first watched Ziva and later saw the other agent and wondered where she came from. So I think I started midway through. Dont skip the first couple of seasons. Sasha Alexander, aka Caitlin "Kate" Todd....mmmmm.... http://images.askmen.com/galleries/actress/sasha-alexander/pictures/sasha-alexander-picture-3.jpg man she is hot. it pissed me off when she left the show. ziva is ok but about 1/1000th as hot as Sasha Alexander is. |

It isn't even close...NCIS all the way! We have all but quit watching CSI because they are mostly unrealistic. I prefer the more gun friendly action of NCIS and NCIS: LA to any of the CSI's. BIgDozer66 THis about sums it up for me. Csi used to have humor in it...now its really boring to me. I stopped watching it in the 4th season. |

NCIS Ziva FTW Indeed Ziva. AND ... Ziva was the winner of the "Ziva vs Fiona –– Who wins?" bake-off poll as well (includes pics!): http://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=977436 ar-jedi

She was a hottie. |

I am I the only one who thinks Abby is hot? http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/0/2/2/4/6/0/webimg/423334065_o.jpg Not by a long shot. Abby is the hottest girl in that show, and always has been. But Kate was a really, really close competitor. |

This is ARFCOM. I can has both |
|
QFT. I'll give any show he makes at least a season's chance. |
|
I can never watch NCIS without thinking about Summer School. I can never watch CSI Miami without thinking about the original Hawaii 5-0.
I think I'd have to give it to NCIS, though. It's intentionally corny, unlike CSI which just ends up being thar way. I'm all about suspension of disbelief, but for fuck's sake, did anyone see the CSI NY "sniper" episode a few weeks back? |

Watched NCIS once and gave up on it because it rather displayed them with the poor rep they had, in reality, in the 80's.
Which comes down to a big problem in if the show is suppose to be a comedy or serious? If it were a comedy, it has a better chance I might watch it, but as a serious show, not a chance, because as with most serious cop shows, it displays a very idealistic view of things. So which is better? CSI but by something barely. It's not the thing I wait for with baited breath but if it's late in the day and there is nothing else on to watch, I'll probably do a couple episodes if it's on.....................though I really can't tell you much about any of the episodes I have seen because it's not that memorable. _____________________________________________________ ("NIS?
