Royal British Legion releases ’2 Minute Silence’ as a single

The Royal British Legion is banking on the sound of silence. It’s released a  "2 Minute Silence”
track on iTunes with the hope that it will top the music charts for the
U.K.’s Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday. The goal? Raising money
for vets, and getting people to sit back and reflect as the track
"plays."

The
£1 purchase price (which includes a "music” video) goes towards
supporting serving and ex-service personnel and their families.

Alright, just so were clear and nobody needs to start a pit thread - I'm all for raising money for veterans, but to make a 2 minute song of dead silence, and then try to sell it for $2 in hopes that people will buy it is a little insane.

This is what Remembrance Day has come to?  "Here, buy this $2 song of nothing and listen to it, that's all you need to do".

In England they call Pitbulls "American Bulldogs", plus unarmed british police have to taser dogs to kill them instead of just shooting them like US cops:

"A dog that attacked and seriously injured a woman died when it was hit with a police Taser weapon.

The American bulldog turned on the 30-year-old woman, who was walking it on behalf of its owner, in Lee-on-Solent, Hampshire, on Thursday."

This southern Georgia boy seems to like it here just fine:

Go on in lad, don't mind the chill.

I might buy it if they used Dolby noise reduction. I do not like my silence to be all cluttered up with noise and dreadful hissing sounds.
