Every. Single. Day.

No, but really, I am one of those weird dudes that actually does a mini work out regimen (push ups, situps, curls, crunchy frogs, shoulder push ups, etc)  before bed and when I wake up.  Its as regular as brushing my teeth now.

During cycling season I kind of slack on conventional workouts since I am on the road so much, and it is hard enough for me to buy enough food/keep down the protein shakes to keep my weight from drastically dropping. When I go off season I do P90X six days a week.

ETA - Holy crap apparently AR15.com  has become a health and fitness board!  Look at those poll results!  (Or maybe it's just that the big guys aren't clicking on this thread)  We should have mandatory picture/post day

No shit about the cycling.  That stuff burns calories like I can barely cope with.  How do the big cycling guys get enough to eat?!?!?  After long rides I have stuffed myself with decent food yet literally felt like I was starving but was too full to eat.  Crazy stuff.

Well, even though I know it is water weight, there is still a SIGNIFICANT amount of calories being burnt.  Some of the rides I did last year made me lose 8+ lbs.  I mean I'm sure at least 6 of that was water, but I do my best to stay hydrated out there.  Seriously though,  I have 3-4k calorie a day diets when I know I am going to be cycling far, and I STILL lose weight.
10/31/2010 8:35:57 PM EDT
[#45]

I work out hard with weights 3-4 days per week, and walk 5 to 5.5 miles every day without fail (it takes me 85 to 90 minutes).  I have a high protein diet and my body fat is 6-7%  Walking is not "vigorous exercise" but it burns up the calories.  I can run a 43 minute 10K and cycle at an average speed of 20MPH for one hour.   I'm in my late forties.

For the record I have consistently worked out since I was 16 years old.   It's a lifestyle for me.

I work out 4-5 times a week.
I do best just lifting weights.  When I do cardio I'm so hungry, I end up eating too much and gaining weight.

My goal now is  10x "Muscle-Ups".
I am a long way off.
