would have been interesting to have had him instead of obama.....

my take on him is he's moderate. and a bit apolitical. hard core conservatives are put off by that though.

supposedly he has said he would never run. and his wife is dead set against it and afraid of him being assassinated.

you wont have to worry about him running.

alan west. my take on him is he wouldnt win. he's a bit too hard core.

some folks i know like jc watts a bunch. personally i dunno much about him though.

ETA not too many conservative 4 stars in the last decade or so. Most flag officers that I knew in the Army were liberal assholes. I knew many for an enlisted puke.
