Is this a "complete the collection" thread?

I say you need a .22 rifle (conversion kit OK), .22 pistol, a Mosin Nagant, and a medium-frame .357.  In that order.

You have the hand grip safety taped down on your 1911?

Sweet collection, but what's with the tape on the 1911?

Ditto all the tape/grip safety comments. I can't tell you how many times I've seen the safety on SA autos mysteriously work themselves off. I noticed last week that the Star BM that had been stored in condition 1 in a drawer had worked the safety off, just from the drawer being occasionally opened. No taped grip safety for me.

I use the 1911 for 3-gun.  When I get a two thumbs high grip, the beavertail commonly fails to deactivate.
