I get the reasoning behind the rule...nobody wants to face a lawsuit, no matter how frivolous.

My only problem is that when I click on a link to an article, read it, close the link, and back out of the thread, the GD page completely refreshes and the posts are all out of order! I lose my place!!! Dammit!!!

If there's a cure or a workaround, I'd love to know.

Use Firefox.  It doesn't automatically refresh like IE does.

I've tried the 'new tab' solution, and it doesn't help.

I'd love to pay up, but after only squeaking out 6 months of work in the last 2 years, my funds are limited to necessities only.

Haven't tried Firefox, but maybe it's time.....

Thanks

I haven't played with Chrome yet.  I have been pretty happy with Firefox, but I have to use IE at work.  Bouncing back and forth between two of them is bad enough without adding a third.

Just hold down on CTRL when you click a link from GD to a post and so on , it won't refresh in any browser.

Yup. Thanks for the reminder. I'm going to plug that into pandora and see what pops up
