| Ok I have heard all the drama from the past, but what is the scoop on the actual training. The wife wants to go to Vegas next year and also wants some real handgun training. Some of the deals are great, but I would like to know the hives opinion before I go any further. |

The consensus is that while the training isn't bad, it's not exactly cutting edge (still teaches Weaver, etc.) and there are better places to spend your training dollars. |

Go to GunSight instead in Prescott AZ
Prescott is beautiful to visit and GunSight is the best of the best GunSight |

I have been to frontsight and really liked it. we took the free subgun class a few years back and I went through a basic handgun class with a new to guns buddy. Both were well taught and the instructors were excellent I thought.
I am going to have my wife take their basic handgun class. |

Don't get me wrong, I'm a graduate of Gunsite, and highly recommend it. I even know how it's spelled. |
