I'm not sure what to say here really,but I too am enthusiastic about socks.The clean ones are my favorite,the ones with sawchips in them are lower on the scale.

Same. I love smart wool. $$, but they last. I still have and wear the two pairs I bought for a backpacking trip when I was 14.

I'm 26 now.

I bought an eight pack of big john bag o socks for 6.99 at bi mart yesterday. They are nice and insulated get yourself some.

Hmm...I love smartwools also, but they really don't last very long when using them for backpacking.

In fact, that is a common complaint about them among backpackers
