Texas is coming off an unexpected drubbing by an unranked UCLA team. OU has had only one strong game and is coming off a dissapointing performance against an unranked Cincy team. Discuss. |
OU by two scores. I hope they beat Texas since my Huskers don't have OU on our schedule this year. I want to see y'all in the championship game with us. Nebraska v. Oklahoma, winner to play Alabama for the national title. It's the natural order of things - from 1970 lol. ![]() |

Quoted:
Surely there is some way they can both lose... right? ETA: I think OU will probably win. +1 t.u. should be coming off back to back losses to unranked teams... if only tubbs and taylor potts could pull their head out their asses... GUN'S UP! ETA: this is he first time in recent memory that College Gameday isn't going to be in Dallas for the OU/tu game |

Quoted: I haven't got to see any of Oklahoma this year, do they look good? OUs defense is suspect. They have been giving up a lot of yards, especially to the run. Now if you compare how they performed defensively against the other opponents from the teams they faced, they are doing statistically slightly better than average. Offensively it has been hit or miss. When the QB is hitting, they are unstoppable, but he is really streaky. If it wasn't for outstanding recievers like Broyles who is arguably the best reciever in the country, OU would undoubtedly have 1 loss this year. The run isn't the greatest in the country, but it is enough of a threat to keep defenses guessing. Overall, they are a solid team, just not near as good as the top teams in the country. |

Quoted:
Oklahoma by 4 touchdowns. As much as I'd love to see that happen, realistically I think it might be a 1 touchdown or less difference. Texas is going to be ticked off after this weekend and OU can't seem to hold a lead more than a few points. OU- 21 Texas- 17 |
