I was at the store/range today and heard a discussion that a well known manufacturer was in trouble - may be done - due to selling illegal MGs. I am not going to say the name on the hope it is a rumor or misunderstanding. Has anyone else heard anything similar ... and forgive me if it is old news, but I just looked and found nothing. I hope it is BS and if so nvm.

| I have heard so much bs over the years at stores / the range. It could be complete bs or just false. I really do not want to add a name without anything more. If anyone has heard anything ... if not I tend to think it may be wrong. Again - I hope so. It was not said to be cav arms. |

Cav Arms was an unrelated issue. The one you are referring to... as I understand it... had a rogue employee selling stuff out the back door. ![]() Yes- That is what I heard. I hope it is not true for the sake of the company and the employee... Theft and illegal activity can happen in any industry. The gun Mfg industry is no different. I highly doubt the Mfg would have anything to worry about... especially if it's simply an employee with sticky fingers. Ever hear the Johnny Cash song... "One piece at a time" ?

| Sabre did have an issue with employes selling ARs or parts under the table not too long ago. Although Im sure they arent going anywhere considering their newly acquired Marine/Navy contract for M16's. Remember the picture in the Georgian war with all those Bushmaster rifles being disposed? Companies go through things like this. |
