I realize placing a vertical grip makes the weapon a NFA item, but most of the general population probably wouldn't know it's illegal. |

plenty of handguns have rails built into the frames. |

plenty of handguns have rails built into the frames. That makes sense. Wasn't really even thinking about a normal pistol, but more along the lines of an AK or AR pistol. The rail could be used in a legal manner to mount a light. I guess since all pistols are viewed equally by the law, it shouldn't matter. |
