I'm tired of using my phones crappy interface to listen to music. I'm also tired of having to fast forward through my podcasts because the phone doesn't save my position when I stop it().

I'd like it to have at least 4GB of space and a MicroSD slot. Ability to support playlists is a big plus and I prefer a battery life of more than 10 hours.

Lots of Sandisk Sansa fans around here...  fits the bill for your price and requirements I reckon.



Check tiger direct for refurbs. Bought two from there and they're very good units.

Check out the Sansa Fuze.  

on the downside its video format is quite byzantine!

For the same price of the Sansa, I can get an extra 1" on the screen with the Trio v430. It does have only 4GB, but I have an 8GB MicroSD card.

Anybody else have a suggestion?
