I constantly get email message to upgrade my security settings. I've tried reentering my credentials but the message keeps popping up. I'm supposed to be getting emails pushed to me as they come into the exchange server but it's rally random. Sometimes I get them in bulk every few hours but I think my phone is constantly trying to send/receive. I'm lucky if the battery lasts half a day even if I don't use the phone.

Anyone run into this? Thoughts on fixing it? I tried a google search but didn't turn anything up.

It's also slow as hell since the last upgrade.

When they did the upgrade to 2.2 or whatever, my battery was dying fast. I checked the "battery usage" and email was using like 46%. Same with another acquaintance.

There was another update that was real small and quick, now everything is fine. Battery lasts the whole day away from home..

Maybe try to update the android system?

First gen droid btw.

My DINC has issues with the weather widget not updating for the current location since the 2.2

I have that now too. It usually says GPS location not found or something like that.

Issues since the upgrade (HTC Incred):

Battery issues: takes nearly 3x as long to fully charge.

Lag to the point of making it terminal lag (i.e. typing an email it'll ... slow ... down ... and ... (app dies))

Battery life seems decreased, if that's possible.

I'm going to write VZW this weekend and see if there's anything they can do to unfuck the situation.

Droid, as in Motorola Droid...? or Droid as in Android (incorrect reference)

Android is the OS. Droid is a Motorola phone model.

I have a Droid, and it runs Android. I'm on the latest 2.2 and have not had problems. I also do not connect to an exchange server, only gmail for a couple accounts.

I've had issues with trying to send picture messages. I'm this >.< close to taking my Droid Eris back to Verizon.

Only issue I have had is that my battery life seems less.

Dump the factory installed one an DL the Weather Channel App. Way better IMHO Link to app page

Can't be. The Droid was delivered to the marketplace by Jesus himself. It was created to be the greatest hand held phone, PDA, entertainment combo ever.
