80% of the posters in GD are too stupid to type one word into search and couldn't spell it right if they did.

And some of us "80 percenters" don't have the time to seek out every world in the abridged, or unabridged dictiionary to make sure nothing is repeated.

What's the big deal with an occasional topic being brought up again?

Wasn't the original intent of the "dupe" policy to prevent a flood of daily "hot topic" posts from every person that thinks they are the only one with access to news sites on the internet?
