I don't really follow football that much, but were VaTechs New uniforms designed by Hellen Keller with assistance from Tommy the pin ball wizard? And if you are going to wear something like that a least be kicking someone ass to make up for it.

ETA: Yeah, they're pretty bad. Even worse than Army's ACU jersey but not quite as bad as Oregon.

Love Army's camo jerseys. VT's suck. The flat black on the helmet is pretty cool though.

No, Oregon's green and yellow uniforms are much, much, worse. I think VT's uniforms actually look pretty good tonight but I may be in the minority on this.

You're in the silent majority man... I like them, the helmets look fucking cool. I think they're more matte than glossy so they remind me of my AR15.

I wish I could do a screen grab. You have to see these in HD. The photos just do not do them justice and I do not men that in a good way.

My first thought when I saw them take the field was that their uniforms looked just like the wrappers on a common type of candy that used to be passed out on Halloween to 'trick-or-treaters'. I think it was some kind of peanut butter candy. I'm sure many of you will grin like I did when you make the connection.

About 30 seconds into that game i said "fuck, I guess all the ACU in the world still doesn't make us good at football". At least I got a cool hat.

It is what it is. Part of it has to do with the school colors. I went to a school that had burnt sienna (i.e. brown), orange and white as the school colors. Team sport uniforms didn't look that great.

VT's uniform really didn't look that bad in person (as opposed to the TV screen). Actually, I rather thought it looked better than BSU's "away game" uniform they wore last night.

Great game to see in person. VT's fan base was really animated. First time to an NFL stadium, and well worth the 6 hr drive (but damn, was the parking situation a mess). Even got to see two of my neighbors from Boise. Small world, heh?

I can't believe no one commented on Boise State's unis. They aren't even BSU primary colors. They weren't symmetrical (notice one sleeve is blue and one is gray with orange trim). SOME of the players had darker gray trim and I'm pretty sure not every jersey had this. BRUTAL.
