First of all, I'll say you can live without a keyboard, especially with Swype and a big-a$$ screen. However, if you're concerned, HTC and Verizon have something just for you...

I have a droid x now but feel like its just as pocketable as my old touch pro 2 with the slide out keyboard. The droid x might even weigh less I suspect.

Came across this a week ago. My upgrade time is next Monday and my wifes phone is crapping out on her. I hope she can hold out till this thing comes out or at least more info about it is released.

A Verizon rep rides on my father-in-laws team. The rep says Verizon plans to bring out a world phone version of the Moto Droid with all the new gadgets coming out in current phones. IIRC it's going to be called the Droid Pro.
