| How about an experiment between the 'best' 5.56x45mm round and the 'best' 7.62x51mm round. Lets re-evaluate the SCHV tests. You could test from similar barrel lengths and similar distances. Measurements could be made of penetration, fragmentation, and final bullet weight. You could really fill this up with a lot of emperical data and reprove or disprove the original study. I think the original SCHV study can be found in The Black Rifle. |
