Hey guys! I just bought a cheap mini cam after seeing a post here. I took several videos on both my suppressed UZI and my SBR'ed MP5. Many were blurry and choppy on the MP5. I think the recoil was too much for it. I attribute this to getting the poorer version (#1) of the camera. The video below is one of the better ones. I have a bunch of links for you all to check out if you are interested.
YouTube link to my video Here is the link to the original ARFCOM link! Here's the link to the BEST version of the camera on ebay Heres the link to the 4GB class 6 micro SD card Heres a link to a guy who is the guru on this camera! His site is crammed with good info! Lastly, heres a youtube video on the operating instructions on this camera! The instructions that come with it are worthless. Overall, IMO, for almost thirty bucks I think I got a good buy! I am going to break down and get the #3 version of this camera, and maybe a couple more! $12 is $12!!!! |

I have one of the #3 versions. Works great for making videos in the car, attaching it to the outside where I wouldn't trust a regular camera. I've also had it attached to my dog's harness, etc. Haven't had a chance at the range yet. These would be great as downrange cameras since they are so cheap. I had one other helmet camera but this one just blows it away due to the size, light weight, and rechargable battery.
Mine will take video for 70 minutes before the battery dies, it's about 1.5GB per 20 minutes. |

Purchased. I think i'll attach it to my carry gun so that I can document any encounter I might have... for LEO's viewing pleasure. ETA: I'm kidding, but would that idea be cool or what? Like a Lasermax guide rod, but a camera instead. Pistol grip activated... That's not far off. Thirty years ago you couldn't do what this camera does for less than a nation-state's intelligence budget, now it is the price of a nice meal. It will keep getting smaller and cheaper (I know I shouldn't have bought that earlier helmetcam, $79 seems outrageous now ). It's second only to the object in my pocket, about the size of a deck of cards, that gives me access anywhere to essentially all of human knowledge... it's an amazing world.
