The vote on Elena Kagan's confirmation to the Court, along with the previous year's confirmation vote on Sonia Sotomayor, are critical for the future of the Second Amendment. After careful consideration, the NRA-PVF announced today that it will not be endorsing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid for re-election in the 2010 U.S. Senate race in Nevada.

Props to the NRA for carrying through with their promise to take the latest SCOTUS confirmation vote into consideration with their endorsements.

Now reid wasn't the only one. Every single democrat except Ben Nelson also made an anti-gun vote to confirm kagan. So did lindsay graham, susan collins, richard lugar, and olympia snowe. They should not be receiving endorsements either.

I'm wondering if the NRA thinks the Republicans are going to take the Senate this fall.  If the Republicans can pull it off, then it no longer makes any sense to keep Harry Reid.
