Was sitting here at the PC and it felt like someone shot me in the back. With the wife's help, got on the floor. Couldn't roll either side without intense pain. Lower back, left side. Kidney stone? Never had one before.

Felt like it *could* be muscular, but...I don't know.

Pain is less now but still substantial. Getting ready to head to either Dr. office or hospital...

Start drinking water in case it is a kidney stone...lemonade would be good as well.  If you are not driving beer is also good to help pass stones.

I would also get on some ice incase it is your back or a disc trying to jump out of place...20-30 minutes on the ice.

I'll take your ammo.  I have enough guns.

Good Luck

I have never had a kidney stone(I know people that have) but that sounds like a muscle spasm.  Good luck.

Impeach Obama because he has destroyed the Health Care System.

Kidney stones are teh suck. My largest so far has been 9mm. I am a 45 fan boy but when its trying to come out of my wang I'll take 9mm, Had to have it broken up. The others have been small and less painful.

I've dealt with 6 stones...get to the emergency room. Try not to do anything too embarassing in public until they can get some pain killers in you.

I'm back from the Dr. office. The pain has been steadily subsiding. They took a pee sample and an x-ray, and saw no worrying signs in either. I guess it was just a bad muscle spasm? Really laid me out, that's for sure. I'll be drinking extra (water) today just in case...
