I wish I could help, but my wife will be in Wisconsin taking care of my two nieces (one newborn) as my sister-in-law is having heart surgery done about the 21st of May. This is my brother's wife, so I am very grateful that my wife is willing to use all three weeks of her vacation to live up there and help my family in this way. Unfortunately, she will miss the BRC.
I know there will be many women/wives there. ARlady, MissMagnum are two regular members/Mods that are confirmed, and many other wives/girlfriends are coming also. Your wonderful bride will be very welcome, and have much in common with the others commiserating about life with a gun nut!! [;)] |

Now why in the heck would I bring Miz Hun to a Black Rifle Convention 685 miles away from our home? She refuses to even go to the local gun shows in Dallas/Ft.Worth because they're 'icky'! Nope, it would wind up that neither of us would have a very good weekend! That's just how she is folks! Anyway, the BRC is a road trip for the guys. We are all leaving our fiances at home. Which is probably more dangerous than being somewhere with hundreds of guns! [:D] Av. |

Zeny's comin' with me. She and I will be making lumpia, and bringing San Miguel beer for those fortunate few that I've come to consider good friends, here. I may have to wind up working the registration table or some such, but WE ARE GOING! It's getting to be time to either poop or unass the can.

I will be bringing my wife.
She shot a 1" group with my Rem. 700 PSS .308 with her second set of 5. She is also proficient with my M4 and is learning the fine art of firing her 12 gauge and .380. My daughter and son will be with their grandparents during BRC so that we can enjoy some quality adult time. I am sure that one or both will show up at future BRC's. -White Horse |

Not bringing girlfriend, haven't taught her how to shoot yet so she's not too interested, I don't think she wants to learn in front of people how already know how to (Not that I'm not a pretty crappy shot at times, but I don't care) The mention of machineguns got a spark of interest. She couldn't get the time off from work at this point anyway. Maybe next year. What's lumpia? |
