I saw one of these at a local shop last week.  It was cheap - $250 or so - and I like that it has "true" 1911 controls.

The dealer said that a threaded barrel is available, so I could even use it as a suppressor host.

Anybody got one of these?  Is it a cheap POS or a decent pistol?

There are a couple reviews at 1911 forum.  IIRC, it was getting positive reviews.

They feel "cheap" but then again they are cheap.  I don't own one, but have sold a few and people seem to like them

The one I handled certainly didn't feel like a real 1911 or even a Ruger Mk - but the controls and the possibility of a threaded barrel made the whole package very tempting.  Especially given the price.

handled one at our shop. It honestly looked like shit. In fact looking it over i found a burr and debris in the FP hole that completely blocked the fp from operating. ROUGH machine marks and it just felt like junk in my hand.

I was really underwhelmed with it.
