Has any1 done this. I am sure it has been but I cannot find a dedicated thread. I am sure there are some kick butt ranges out there and I would like to see them. Got out to the range early this morning and thought I would take a few pictures. My local range has done alot of work lately. Putting in new concrete floors, reloading tables and reshaping the berms in the rifle range. They have also built a shotgun only area that is nice. Thanks for providing us with such a great resource. They host comps as well. Here are some pictures. It covers several acres and these are just of the rifle range. It goes out to 300 yards in a nice setting. There is a shotgun range, casual range (which is great for some variation in distances in your AR training) and a indoor range.

Man I wish I had a range like that!! My range is my back yard and the woods behind us. That's a good thing about living out in the country. I am planning on borrowing a backhoe this Fall and making a multi target pistol range so I can practice my IDPA drills. Looking forward to more pics of ranges.

Putting something in my backyard.  Retaining wall and berm done.

Have to work on the covered shooting bench next.  It will have 2, two sided shooting stations like the ones pictured above, for both right and left shooters.

It will have 2, two sided shooting stations like the ones pictured above, for both right and left shooters.

It is 100 yds for now.  I can go to 200 if I choose to do the extra work.

Probably won't have room for any shotgun play, though.  Lane's only going to be 30 ft at its widest.

Public range on state game lands north of Pittsburgh....

Google Earth snapshot, sometimes it gets a little crowded especially just before and during hunting season.  It's nothing special but it's a place to shoot.

Elbert County Gun Club.  Just joined last month and need some more pics.  Targets range from 50 - 400yds on the rifle range with 16 granite benches.   There are numerous sporting clays stations and a pistol/rimfire (50yd) range.  Some clay stations are staged at an old quarry on the property.

Here's a pic I took of a range I used to shoot at back when i was living in AZ. It had paper targets from 100 yards and under, and man sized steel targets from 200-500 yards, and a big round steel target at 600 yards. It was a really fun shooting range, loved hearing the targets ping. It's hard to see so i did some MS paint.
