My superintendent just called to tell me that the crew just finished the final field test on all our equipment on this project I have been managing. This job has been strung out for a little over two years and now all that is left is closeout paperwork. The best part is we will end up making a 13% profit on this job. Not bad for an $8.5 mil electrical package. Buying material at the beginning of the job and stocking it in the warehouse sure made a difference. So did change orders resulting from poor design from the engineers. Tonight I get to go home, grab a glass of bourbon and relax. |
