I need to get my partner off the LLC,. He and I are in agreement on this. He says it's going to cost 1k in paperwork, there's got to be cheaper way. Thanks

How much is your business worth to you?
If you refuse to spend a grand, how about you print a document whereby he relinquishes any stake in Scarbutt LLC and get it witnessed and notarized? He should also write and sign a letter of resignation.
