Has anyone tried TRX Suspension training? Using gravity and the lack of weights is intriguing. Usually any workout product like this is gimmicky, but I could actually see myself enjoying using it..anyone have first hand experience?

Start slow.  Even though you "think" you are doing an upper body workout one day, and a legs the next, you are doing deep core BOTH days.

Feels like my core muscles were torn up from my gut down.

Also, don't smack your face off the ground doing the pushups!

It is not a BS workout.  But, like all workouts, it only works if you use it.  (I feel like I am OK to start again after 4 days off...)

I injured an ab muscle pretty bad a couple of months ago and am hoping that the "core"exercise part will strengthen me up.
I will have to order the kit and try it out and do an update.
Thanks for the feedback.

if you don't buy your TRX from TRX, expect to get a Chinese knockoff.  And watch for sales, they run discounts quite a bit.

Is Amazon a safe bet? Last thing I need right now is to smash my face on the ground b/c some 12 yr old Chinese girl didn't tie the proper knots (the snake comes out of the hole, around the tree.....)

I'm not sure about Amazon.  I just know I ordered one on ebay without doing any research and got a counterfeit.
