I have fondled one, and i like it. The only thing i would have to get used to is the slide, it is noticeably smaller height wise compared to anything else out there.

I agree.

The only thing I don't like...the sights are plastic.  No matter though, trijicons are coming soon.  Other than that....this pistol kicks ass.

I really, really want to like CZ pistols, but I too have a problem with the slide being a tad bit too small.

I'm used to Hi Powers, 1911's, etc. etc. full slides

Great shooters, very accurate and the price is wonderful.

Yes, no problem with the mags.  That was a small issue with the first run over a year ago.

That was my only problem with that gun.

Thanks...it is one of the most comfortable pistols I have ever owned.  Better than Glock, Sig and H&K in my opinion.  Not talking quality, but comfort in the hand.

No longer an issue...these mags nearly jump out when you press the release.

I actually bought this pistol over the Glock 19.  That's right, I said it.....

Damn, very nice pistol. Looks almost like an HK made pistol.

Gotta love the Czechs, they make AWESOME pistols that are very affordable.

ya done good. Those are some nice little pistols.  I got to shoot one when they first hit the streets. I should still pick one up since my wife has pretty much stolen my FNP.

How is the weight and balance on it?

That's what I have heard, but there is not one in my area.  So, Bud's got the call.  If you have not bought from Bud's...they are a first rate organization.  I highly recommend them.

The weight and balance is excellent.  It is my new carry gun.  Very light, even when you load 16 +1 rounds.  I really like the thickness of it (or lack thereof).  It is really thin and easy to carry.

I only have one complaint about it. The double action pull is about as long and bad as an H&K USP. I really like the single action on it. A little take up and a little overtravel but nothing that can't be learned. I really like the fact that I can carry cocked and locked just like my 1911 which used to be my primary carry pistol.
