Quoted: I didnt get lunch today and decided to have a nice dinner. I figured it was as good a time as any to do a dinner pic. I made bacon and scallop stuffed steak served on a bed of scallops. I used a steak marinade that my dad gave me and its cooked rare. Also have some cheese shells and salad. A friend left some Landshark here last weekend so I'm trying that. NRA mug is full of iced tea. Rifle is a marlin .45-70, knife is Shun. Reload is in brown bag. http://i36.tinypic.com/2hxc4ly.jpg Meat - Check Starch - Check Salad -Check Fork - Check Knife - Check Napkin - Check Rifle - Check Reload - Check Cannon Fuse - Check Beer - Check NRA Mug - Check Still Wrappered Gun Lock - Check BOTD - Nope. 8/10

It's ok. Presentation is weak. Dinner seems incomplete. Weapon position is awkward. I will give you a 7.5. Ok rifle may be in an awkward position but what more could you ask for from dinner? a baked potato, loaded and some sliced tomatoes... I'll give ya a 9/10 because of the cannon fuse.. lol |

I normally don't judge others' dinner pics if I just posted one, but here goes. Stuffed steak seems pretty bush league. It's steak. It doesn't need anything crammed up its ass. Then you have all those tooth picks to deal with. It's like a bad science experiment. The steak on the right looks like a swollen cow's vagina. I personally find Landshark to be salty crap, and I'm not a fan of your presentation. Next time clear the junk off your table and take a nice photo. Have some respect.
6/10. |

I'll reluctantly give you a 10...even though I have to ask WHERE THE HELL IS YOUR HANDGUN. I thought handgun was lunch pic. I will most certainly remember it for tomorrow night's pic. We're going to taco town. |

Did you see what I just ate? Its really going to be awkward tomorrow morning about 9:30. I work in an office with 30 guys and the mens room only has 1 stall. FFFFUUUUUUUUUU |

First and foremost I have to give you all the credit in the world for putting yourself out there and posting a dinner pic in the GD. I really mean that. If you are serious about your question to me then please IM me and I can give you some tips thay I have learned from the 6 years that I have been doing dinner pics. First, you can do a search of me as topic author for the last two years. You will see thay I am a prolific dinner pic poster. I have recieved some very good and consistent feedback. The formula is simple: 1. keep it simple and plan it out in advance. 2. The simple details are important. Balanced and properly cooked food. Simple things lilke napkin, fork and knife properly placed. Interesting firearms (hand and long gun in a ready positon based upon your handedness), reloads. Less is more, one handgun one rifle/shotgun. One drink in addition to water that looks like you're actually gonna drink it. 3. A simple description of the meal and a short "how to". 4. Simple and elegant. I'd post examples but would never srep on your post. Don't take the comments personally. We all have preferences so don;t discount peoples opinion since by posting the dinner pic you are asking for opinions. Good job! |
