| Need recommendations on the best (most hassle free) route to bring a CDL truck from Montana to Jersey. |

agree
hire it done either they drive it under a transport license/plate or put it on a lowboy/drop deck. DOT guys LOVE to do safety inspections on newly purchased trucks (cuz you just know there's shit wrong with it, that you haven't driven it enough to find) and then you're OOS 1000 miles from home. having done it, I wouldn't do it again. Took 3 days to go 600 miles (POS broke down every couple hundred miles) |

I'm actually looking forward to the trip. Although I'd rather be driving my pov with nothing to do and 2 months to do it. It looks as though 94 will bring me right through the middle of Shitcago so I'm thinking the 90/80 route will be best. 80/90 is a good route, plus you can stop at trucker Disney land, AKA the Iowa 80. So where in MT is the truck located? |
