I searched for a dupe.

I found this on youtube and thought I would share with GD.

It's one of those "what if" survival type shows that demonstrates some useful knowledge and things that would come in handy in a SHTF/TEOTWAWKI situations

It's hosted by Rudy Reyes, who you'll be familiar with if you watched the Generation Kill series or read the book, or Nate Fick's "One Bullet Away".  He was the driver for team two, 2nd platoon, bravo company, 1st recon battalion during the invasion of Iraq, and was the leader of team 2 after his superior was wounded.

Your search didn't come up with anything because it's probably archived. Nevertheless, Arfcoms consensus was, most of the stunts he did would be way to dangerous and pointless in a survival situation. And Detroit is a shit hole. Entertaining none the less.

I believe it was a one time special made just for "Disaster" week or something like that.

I loved how the purpose of the show was how to stay safe in a total breakdown of society. And the first thing he does is to head downtown with no weapon, just to aquire a car and drive back out in the end.
