Anyone have one of these?  My brother has a PPS-43 version.  It is a blast to shoot.

I can't wait to take this one out.

They issued kitchen mitts.  I'll probably just did it like they did.  Wife won't be happy though.

I have a parts kit, I got it about 5 years ago for I think about $50.  I need it built up, but I kind of want to SBR it since I don't like that long barrel + shroud.  The drums should be fun.

Same here.  Anyone who has played a videogame or seen a movie about WWII that has the Soviet Union will know what it is.

I saw a .22 caliber knockoff of a PPSh-41 at the fun shop a few weeks ago.

It is a semi auto version of a Russian submachine gun.  Used in WWII.  PPSH-41.  Google it.  Cool gun.

Yeah I see they were bringing the old bingham back

the rifles were nicely built but the drum mags were a little sketchy

not sure how nice the newer ones are

Wow, never have I met someone that is into guns not know about the PPSH-41.
I thought that was like a prerequisite submachine gun you SHOULD know about.
ETA: Oh and OP have fun with it, if it's anything like the full auto version, because it will spit brass higher than pretty much any firearm out there.

They don't run very well, but are nice to look at.

They are called the Bingham PPS-50.

I could have told you what that was when I was ten years old. That was when Atari Astroids was the latest video game on the shelf.

QFT . I built one for a guy one time and I had to do some test firing . the thing was super fun to shoot , and I've never seen anything that wanted to be rid of empties like it did . it really slings them

PPSh-41 was such a "crappy" gun, that it was the second-most-common submachinegun used in WWII by the German armed forces.

Yep I got one. Fun to shoot but I had to replace the firing pin on it after a few hundred rounds...

I heard they had a problem with heat treating those pins.

I looked into it.  It is a pain in the ass and pretty expensive.  You really can't tell when shooting it.

I'm thinking about getting a AO M1 Thomspon SBR though.
