Heck just walk up to the wire, yell fire in the hole or "They're coming right for us", pull pin and chuck. One time during a nade range at CAX, last nade range of the exercise, someone screwed up and opened too many crates. Officer didn't want to do the paperwork, so we spent close to 4 hours throwing grenandes. Thought it would be fun, until we found out that we weren't going to do it the "fun" way. nope, stand in line, get grenade (singular), walk to pits, wait, throw, wait, wait, walk back, get grenade, walk to pits.... I think I chucked more than 15 that way. At first we could sit under the "shade" and cool off without Kevlars and Flacks, until shrapnel started hitting the metal roof and surrounding area. I still hate grenades. |

why are you supposed to put ammo/grenades in the amnesty box??? soldiers NEED TO HAVE that sort of stuff, right? This is just a wild-assed guess, but I'm betting that it's the Amnesty Box for servicemen rotating back to the States. Nope...on the FOB but the unit just Ripped. |

what ends up in the trash.
