Know prices.  Most of our local gun shows are full retail –– or 40% over internet prices.

The Puyallup one?  If it is anything like the Portland Expo one, save your admission and parking $$ and shop/buy off the Internet and save money.

If you want modern production items or a deal, buy internet.  Even better, buy used off the EE and save mad $$$$

If you are looking for something obscure for an older weapon, a gunshow is a good resource.

$8 admission, go there, handle something you want to buy, leave, go home, buy it off the net for half price.

and jerky. I still love gun shows but the best deals are from the people walking around look for them and you will find some good deals.

Don't bring any cash. I go to catch up with friends and look around. However the prices suck for everything, cept the beef jerky. Interweb is the place to go for deals and good prices.

+1 On everything said ,you have to look real hard to find any kind of deal. The best part of a gun show is just looking around at all the stuff.Forget the shopping list ,more than likely you wont see anything on your list.
Mostly go to gun shows for reloading supplies like powder and primers ,but now you starting to see more supplies in regular stores after the shortage.
